A charity match will will be played between West Indies and ICC World XI to raise the funds to restore and rebuild the five cricket grounds in West Indies that was destructed by Hurricane Irma last year. The ICC World XI will feature many star crickets like Shahid Afridi, SHoaib Malik, Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan and many more. The match is scheduled to play at 17:00 local time at Lord’s cricket ground.
Team News: Pakistani star al-rounder Shahid Afridi will lead the World XI and Carlos Brathwaite will be the captain of West Indies team. West Indies will feature many star players like Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis. Andre Russell will return to the squad since he was banned due to doping code violation in Jan 2017. Shakib ul hasan has withdrawn himself from the squad due to personal reasons and Sandeep Lamichhane has been included in the squad in place of Shakib.
